Bike Tour

Spokesongs Tour a Success

In September 2009, Jay and I set off on an experiment we called the Spokesongs Tour. We biked our instruments, some mics, some cds, and ourselves through the mountains of Virginia for 7 days. You, our fans, were kind enough to cheer us on through facebook, phone calls, and most importantly at the shows! Thank you thank you thank you. We also had some serious help from our sponsors: Tree Fort Bikes in Ann Arbor, MI and as always from Fretwell Bass and Acoustic Instruments. Here is the full video of the tour by Joel Landis. We hope you enjoy it.

Eddies Attic shootout

Ah yes, we’re proud to say that we took the winning slot in the Eddie’s Attic shootout in Duluth, Georgia! After 21 rounds of performers we closed out the evening with “Surround me” from our new album Redwing. It was an absolute pleasure to play with so many talented artists and walking away from the night with many new friends. That being said we scavenged a few hours of sleep and are on the road towards Knoxville, TN to play a live broadcast on WDVX, and one of the best shows in the country called “The blue plate special”. The early hours were as grey as Brian’ pin-stripped suit but now the sun hangs in the sky like a ripe Georgia peach. Check out our facebook fan page for a live video clip from Eddie’s.
