Recording today

Back in the studio today! We are very excited to be getting closer to the end of tracking….

Albino Skunk Fest

Yes, and Yes. The Albino Skunk Fest rocked through and through…true and true. Thank you to all of our fans how showed up to support us for our last festival of the season. We got to catch up with some old friends as well as make some new. Some of our favorite acts included, Caravan of Thieves, The Gourds, The Gibson Brothers, and Seven Handle Circus to name a few. My highlight of the night was when Oliver and myself joined The Gourds for their killer version of Snoop Doggs “Gin & Juice” to end the night! We are off the road for the rest of the month to finish our upcoming album and spend time at home so check out our November schedule to see if we are coming to your area….Jay

Bicycle Times, New Album (Uncloudy Day), The Road

Greetings from the great Mid-West!…. We just finished up a fantastic tour with shows in North Carolina (Ocracoke Island), Kentucky, Missouri, and Kansas. Thanks to all our new friends and fans that we’ve had the pleasure of meeting or at least seeing bopping heads in the audience!

Bicycle Times - Issue #6
Featuring The Steel Wheel Duo
We had an amazing weekend in Salina, Ks at the Smokey Hill River Festival and all the performers and visual artists were top notch! We played five sets over the three days that we were there and missed not a one due to any of the perilous weather conditions. All I can say is that the people of Kansas are fantastic and Salina puts on one masterpiece of a festival….

The Steel Wheel Duo gets covered in “Bicycle Times” Issue #6. We are proud to let you know that we got a great feature article in the newest issue of Bicycle Times! The story covers our first SpokeSongs Bicycle Music Tour in late Fall of 2009 and has some sweet pics as well. The magazine is available at a number of stores including Barnes and Noble and also online HERE.
