Hey friends. The Steel Wheels had a great time at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN on Sunday October 24th. With the help of a handy new recorder, we caught a little bit of audio that we’d like to share. The Bluebird lived up to its hype as a great listening room with an amazing audience and we were honored to be on that stage where so many heroes have played. Trent Wagler & Jay Lapp release a new recording, Uncloudy Day, on May 5th to correspond with their SpokeSongs Tour through Michigan. The recording was done around one microphone and includes favorite and influential traditional songs that Trent and Jay have collected throughout the years. Stamped with Steel Wheel style, the songs play as a late night slow jam and celebrate traditional songs as they embark on this Spring’s tour on traditional transportation.
